Sometimes staying inside the box might be the best thing one can do. There is no need to go outside the box. Everyone is outside the box. It's a whole lot emptier inside the box than it used to be. Might as well stay in. It's cozy. No one is there to bother you. Lead a simple life. There is no harm in leading a simple life. Might as well become so comfortable inside the box that people from outside the box start climbing inside the box. How are you so happy, they ask. Don't answer.
Often we give too much importance to trying to lead a successful life. To earn more money. More fame. Or if nothing else, more followers. I really don't find anything wrong with leading a simple-not-so-traditional-successful-definition life with less money, a smaller car, and fewer friends. If you have chased your ambition for 15 years, might as well give up on it. How much are you gonna try? But then again if I'd been rich I'd not be writing this. As the saying goes, it's better to cry in a Mercedes. I'd cry in that Cumberbatch car though. Looks amazing. Like my mom used to say that if you can't find the time to go for a morning walk, come back home and drink tea while reading 5 newspapers and then randomly decide not to go to the office for a couple of days; if you can't do this when you are 35, chances are you probably aren't happy. My mom never said this.
So many people have started thinking outside the box, that now I think there must have been a bigger box, to begin with. How can everyone think outside the box? There must be like a bigger box outside the box that most people can't see. You have to climb like two boxes to actually think outside the box. Some of us are climbing both. Many aren't. And it's okay to not climb as well. It's perfectly okay. Too much box climbing can give you a papercut too. Or you may fall so badly that you never get up again. In my head, these are all metaphors, and I don't know if it's making sense to you or not.
Nowadays if I see someone saying that they want to become a mechanical engineer, I genuinely get shocked. Did no one tell this guy about the box? What if everyone becomes a singer or a stand-up comedian or a dancer or an actor, who will be repairing my laptop which keeps getting fucked every second day then? I guess the answer lies in the future. Also, these are the only out-of-the-box professions that I could think of. To think of more, I'd have to think outside the box and I am not in that mind space now. Farming is also out of the box, no?
I was watching this documentary the other day and then I shut it off. Because it was boring. I think it's okay to do that. It's okay to not know about everything. We anyway don't. At that next party, you won't get to show off about the documentary. More realistic conversation might happen like why soda is a better mixer than coke. At this point in time, I think that there is an unsaid competition going on, about who watches the most absurd documentaries. Then they come and discuss it. It's boring dude please go for a walk, you are giving a bad trip to everyone. But what's the point of knowledge if you can't show it off? And wisdom is something that you can't get on your television sets. So I get it and I also don't get it.
Documentaries are very much inside-the-box thing I think. You see a person and you are like okay that guy is interesting, I will narrate his life in one hour. Neither can it do justice to his life nor is it entertaining. Only plant/animal/space stuff is interesting. Space because it's legit outside the box. Ha ha. So as I was saying, boxes and all don't matter at this point I think. It's all chaos and stay wherever and stay happy. Or at least try to be. Or pretend. Nobody cares.
In conclusion, I was bored of doing what I regularly do and I wrote this which is actually worse, so I will get back to doing what I do better than what I just did to you.

Confused about liking this read! Would this make me a out of the box or inside the box person 😉
